KK Gupta

“Automate or Evaporate"

Prologue: Every great production needs a daring lead who steals the scene, writing it from scratch. This is the origin.

RapidAML was built as an answer to relentless curiosity.

As the illustrious mind behind RapidAML, KK Gupta has accomplished what even a few dare to attempt. He marched in with a mission and a marker pen. A BITS Pilani grad with a brain wired for engineering, KK is the kind of leader who treats risk not as something to avoid, but something to learn from. He charts the strategies and tests them like a chemist seeking gold in dust with his curious ability to design systems that feel almost human.

His biggest myth-busting mission? To him, compliance is a growth lever if you’ve got the right tools.

If friction were a business model, you’d be winning. We iterate, therefore we are.

Deep Pai

Deep Pai

"Lead from the Front. This CTO Gives Order and Writes the Script as Well”

Prologue: The world was drowning in dashboards. And somewhere in a dimly lit war room of forgotten passwords and failed integrations, someone uttered the cursed phrase: “Don’t worry, I’ve got it in Excel.” That was the moment the universe knew a hero must rise.

Deep is equal parts engineer and alchemist, armed with a Master’s degree from Columbia and a noble quest to rescue the land of AML from the clutches of complexities. He wears multiple hats and builds the rack they hang on. His secret? Failures are just prototypes for something better. In a world once ruled by pen or sword, Deep backs the might of code now stitched into the very fabric of life.

If data were gold, Deep would be the Midas of machine learning, only he’s more interested in the code than gilded furniture.

Syam Chintapenta

Syam Chintapenta

“The Leader with Integrity. Expect the Unexpected”

Prologue: When half-baked products parade as innovation, one man stands. He debugs at dawn, designs by dusk, and tests when no one’s watching.

“The moment came when I had to rush out workflow screens to fix a regulatory observation for a major U.S. bank. We did it fast, and we did it right. That’s when I knew there was a better way to build these tools. Reinventing systems.”

If product building were a cuisine, Syam would be a Michelin-starred establishment. A shining M.Tech (Power and Energy System), badge of honour in AML & KYC, a penchant for stirring the pot, but burning nothing, taste-testing every release, and serving solutions that are rich in features are the ingredients for balancing customer cravings with regulatory recipes.

When regulations clash with user experience, only one product stands between the challenges and the regulator’s pen.

Gaurav Singh

Gaurav Singh

“Make the Impossible Seem Inevitable”

Prologue: Some see numbers. Gaurav reads them like tea leaves, and his prediction comes with an audit trail. This time, he saw a system begging for revolution.

Who knew Gaurav would transform financial crime compliance when he stepped out with a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and a mind trained to see the patterns? And it happened in a corporate conference room, mid-coffee sip, when a compliance officer casually admitted they spent 80% of their time just processing manual data. That’s when the switch flipped. That was his ‘Not on my watch’ moment.

Where others were busy patching legacy systems with duct tape and prayers, Gaurav was deep into building a transaction monitoring system, cementing the yawning gap between what compliance needed and what the tech world was serving.

You know those people who say, ‘I just fell into this kind of work’. Yes, that’s not Gaurav. He is a man who walks straight with a purpose.

Courtney O’Keefe img

Courtney O’Keefe

“Take the Leap, Even if Your Heels Sink in the Mud”

Prologue: Some say she speaks fluent strategy. Others claim she once resurrected a doomed ops plan with nothing but a whiteboard. One time, she looked a P&L statement dead in the eye and made it weep with joy. Budgets don’t break around her, they reorganise out of respect.

A woman whose resume reads like a five-course meal at the finest financial gala. Bachelor of Business, Accounting, Banking, & Finance & Professional Accounting, with a Postgraduate degree in Financial Planning and a little curious detour in margin lending and investments courses.

At the height of her corporate ascent, she did the unthinkable. She leapt. A safe, shiny title to the wild west of startup land. And what did she find? A mission to build tech that empowers the underdog. The overlooked. A humble quest to build a solution without maxing out their credit lines.

Courtney is the producer who keeps the show running, making sure every scene hits, the lights stay on, and no one trips on a cable.

The future belongs to those who innovate, not those who rest on their laurels.

Pathik Shah

Pathik Shah

“Growth Isn’t Meant to Be Easy”

Prologue: Before RegTechs were raising seed rounds and compliance was a fancy word, there stood a man. The functional mastermind behind the most practical and unified compliance software out there. A man who makes acronyms look fashionable and regulatory compliance cool.

Chartered Accountant, CAMS, CISA, CS, DISA, FAFP. At this point, the letters follow him like a loyal entourage. Don’t be fooled by the credentials, what really defines him is his belief that learning is a lifelong sport.

He’s the type who’ll teach you everything he knows, then casually raise the bar and say, ‘your turn.’ Pathik’s a mentor and a challenger whose favourite playground is corporates twisted in FATF standards. He designs structured compliance frameworks the way architects build cities and builds ecosystems where risk management, technology, and human judgment work together.

Compliance is my muscle memory. Now grab your notes, there’s a quiz coming.

Jyoti Maheshwari

“Perfection Is a Process. And I’m It’s Favourite Student”

Prologue: Some people skim policies. Jyoti rewrites them until the commas apologise for being misplaced. Others hope for the best, but she plans for it. She’s the firewall between your business and tomorrow’s headlines.

Regulatory compliance, policy-making, legal advisory, and technology projects. Her area of expertise is like a greatest hits album of things people avoid until they explode. She works with intensity and structure, calling out performance theatre when she sees it. After all, compliance is defence. Jyoti is here to make sure that the defence doesn’t have holes.

You won’t catch her parroting “AI-powered compliance” around. Instead, she’ll ask: Did the algorithm catch the risk scenario? Did the system escalate the trigger? Did your onboarding flow actually protect your business, or did it just look pretty on a dashboard?

Dipali Vora

Dipali Vora

“If You Know, You Know. If You Don’t, Book a Training.”

Prologue: They call her ‘one-stop solution’. Because that’s true and not out of flattery. When crisis hits, she’s your first call. When everything’s on fire, she shows up. She’s your insurance against bad decisions and hasty guesses.

A senior consultant with CAMS and ACS to her name and the kind to read your compliance policy end-to-end, flag the gaps, reframe the process, retrain your team and leave it stronger. When it comes to AML training, customer onboarding, and building practical AML policies, she is the person behind the scenes making sure everything holds when pressure hits.

And for the record, Dipali loves a clean, clever fix. But for shortcuts without logic? That’s where she draws the line. Ask first. Think it through. Then act. That’s her golden rule.

Purva Buch

Purva Buch

“It’s Discipline. I Built It Brick by Brutal Brick”

Prologue: The person behind the words you agreed to without reading, but eternally grateful someone did. You think she’s the research person, the reviewer, the one typing in the corner. You’d be right except she’s also the one calling out the loopholes you didn’t even know were there.

Lawyer, formerly practised at Bombay High Court, CAMS-certified, she’s got the receipt and rigour. Legal research is her sport. Her work goes beyond plain language. It’s about intuitive alignment, making sure that what’s written reflects what’s implemented. She’s here for the rhythm. She understands the law, but also makes sure everyone else can, too, without watering it down or losing its soul.

She’s the bridge between what the law says and what your tech stack can actually do. For thoughtful, focused sprints that feel more like a multiplayer mission. She’s not looking to make noise. She’s looking to make sense. And she will, line by line.
